Perkins & Co. letterpress copybook, 1872-1876.

Letterpress copybook of Perkins & Co.'s letters to firms and individuals all over the United States concerning silver mines of California and Nevada and the wool and leather business. The letters concerning mining are full of advice on investment strategies and details of mining operations, some of it first hand from Perkins, who travelled to the mines. Mines mentioned include Belcher, Crown Point, Mexican, Pioche, Savage, and Ophir. Some letters signed by James E. Perkins.
